"Gestures of the City" was a book project where we collected 50 photos taken by ourselves and show a pattern. I decided to focus on the different gestures people do throughout the city because as we move through the city, it’s easy to overlook the small gestures that surround us. The brief interactions, the shared glances, the everydayscences that often go unnoticed. Yet it’s in these subtle moments that the true beuty of the city lies. These gestures, though movement, have the power to connect us in ways we might not immediately realize. By the end of this journey, we see how these overlooked moments, these quiet acts of connection, weave together the fabric of our shared urban experience, leaving us with a deeper sense of belonging to the city.
